She smokes the cigarette as if she is afraid of it. Her fingers are uncomfortable and stiff. As she moves her hand to her mouth her thumb seems to get in the way. Here lips are ridged and hard, as she puts the filter to her mouth. Her eyes grow large as if to indicate that her tongue has retreated. She takes one quick puff and holds it. She seems to be suppressing vomit. The smoke obviously has gone no further than her uvula. When she is sure that no one is looking, and that everyone has forgotten that she has just taken a hit, she quickly blows the drug away out the right side of her mouth. The look of relief seems to creep into her being. She begins to breath normally for a few minutes, and then the cycle begins again.
